To receive a ballot by mail for the 2018 election, make sure you are registered online or by mail by October 29, 2018 (at least 8 days prior to Election Day).
To register to vote in Colorado, you must:
- be a U.S. citizen;
- be a resident of Colorado for at least 22 days immediately before the election in which you intend to vote;
- be at least 18 years old by the next general electionand not registered in any other county or state.
Every voter receives a mail ballot at the mailing address provided through their voter registration file. If you would like to vote at the polls, you can surren-
der your mail ballot and vote in-person at a voter service and polling center. All ballots must be received by the county clerk by 7:00 pm on Election Day.
If you have been convicted of a felony, your right to vote will be restored after your term of incarceration and after completion of your parole.
